Councillor Andrew Weatherill declared an interest with regard to Agenda Item 11 – the report on Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO), as he had a personal interest.

Members to declare any interest as appropriate in respect of items to be considered at the meeting.

Councillors Howes & Weatherill declared a personal interest in relation to Agenda Item 11 and the motion on HMOs, due to their involvement in HMOs in the North Northamptonshire area. Both councillors indicated that they would withdraw from the meeting during discussion of that motion.

Councillor Graham Lawman declared a personal interest in relation to the Urgency Report on Maintained Nurseries.

Councillor Addison declared a personal interest in relation to the Urgency Report on Maintained Nurseries.

Following advice from the Deputy Monitoring Officer in relation to the report titled Pension Discretions Policy and Motion 4 (as detailed on the agenda), a number of councillors registered a personal interest as they or a close family member were/or would be in receipt of a local government pension - Councillors Hallam, Leanne Buckingham, Anslow, Partridge-Underwood, Smith-Haynes, Carr, Roberts, L Lawman, Edwards, Henson & Bell.

In addition, Councillors Bunday and Graham Lawman as the Council’s representatives on the Pension Board declared an interest and indicated that they would leave the meeting and not participate in any debate or vote on these matters.
